Following Cabinet Reshuffle on Sunday, a new face of UPA had come to Limelight. It is expected that 22 Ministers will take the oath on Sunday that includes 10 First Timers. IBPS is showing swiftness in declaring the Results of the Regional Rural Banks. In our previous post, we have informed about the Declaration of IBPS RRB Officers Result and Today IBPS had announced the RRB Assistant Exam Result for which the exam was conducted on 9th Sept, 2012. How to check the IBPS Assistant Exam Result Status ?



If you have appeared in the IBPS RRB Assistant Exam, then you can check your result status by going through the following steps

  1. Log on to IBPS Website @ www.ibps.in.
  2. Click on the appropraite link for Checking the Assistant Exam Result.
  3. On the Result Status page, enter your Registration Details to check the result.
  4. If the Details are correct, then you can see your Result status Pass or Fail

Today ie on 22nd October, 2012, IBPS had announced the Written Exam Results of CWE for Regional Rural Banks (RRB's) held on 2nd September, 2012. The IBPS RRB Results 2012 were announced in very Quick time ie in 50 Days.

The Results are published Online at the IBPS Official Website (www.ibps.in) and students can check their Status by entering the Registration Details. The Scores for IBPS RRB Written Exam 2012 will be made available after two weeks.

Successful students in the IBPS RRB PO Officers Exam 2012, will be issued scorecards based on which they can apply for Officers Jobs in Regional Rural Banks( RRB).It is expected that close to 5.5 Lakh students have appeared in the Officers Exam.

A few Days ago, Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) had announced the PO/MT Exam Results 2012 for which the Exam is conducted on 17th June. Approximately 61,000 students have been declared as successful in the IBPS PO-2 Exam 2012. Changes in the IBPS Clerk Selection Procedure

Successful students in the Written Exam will be called for the Common Interview, coordinated by IBPS.Successful candidates after Qualifying the Written Exam and Common Interview will be listed in the order of Merit and Based on the Candidates preference they will receive a Job Offer from any ONE of the Participating banks through a Computerized System


This New system is completely different from the Previous IBPS Selection Procedure and Now the Passed candidates in the IBPS Clerk Exam will have to appear only in One Interview (Common) rather than in multiple Interviews conducted the different Banks. It saves both Time and Money of the applicants


Who can appear in the IBPS Clerk CWE 2012 ?


Applicants desirous of Clerk Jobs in Public Sector Banks in India must have to appear the Clerk's Common Written Exam (CWE) in Dec, 2012.Before applying online for the IBPS Clerk CWE, applicants make sure that they full fill the Eligibility criteria given below

Age Limit : Min: 20 years and Max: 28 years

Educational Qualifications: Graduation in any stream from a Recognized University in India

How many Passed ?


Only 8 % students have been declared as Qualified in the Written Exam. It is expected that close to 7.5 lakh students have appeared in the exam and only 61,339 candidates have been declared as successful.

Govt's Nod to Common Interview for Jobs in Public Sector Banks


In our previous post, we have discussed about that there will be Common Interviews for Bank Jobs in India. The News is Official Now and the Government of India, had agreed to IBPS's proposal for conducting Common Interviews for Bank Jobs in the 20 Nationalized Banks.The New system will be operational with immediate effect, this means that IBPS PO-2 Qualifiers are likely to be the First One's appear in the Common Bank Interviews, conducted by IBPS and not in Individual Bank's Interviews.

IBPS will be conducting Common Interview at different Places and Locations, so as to assist Regional Candidates and those belonging to far-flung ares

Experts in Banking Sector are of the view that Common Interviews for Bank Jobs is a good move by IBPS, as it will cut down the Multiple Selection of Candidates in Banks, for which the IBPS is being criticized, since the IBPS Platform was introduced in 2011.
